My boyfriend booked this restaurant for my birthday meal. I’ve been here a couple of times before and I have always really liked the menu.
They offer three different areas to eat in being the bar, ground floor and downstairs restaurant.
The bar is as it suggests in the bar area, which can be a bit noisy for an intimate dinner but great with friends.
The ground floor restaurant is situated just opposite the bar in a separate restuarant. It offers a lovely view out onto the street and my favourite white crisp linen table cloths.
The downstairs restaurant is a little bit cosier as they offer private booths.
We had a table in the ground floor restaurant. I’m a people watcher and much prefer this restaurant or the bar.
We had some great starters.
Halloumi and button mushroom salad with roasted cashews and, roasted butternut squash with blue cheese dressing and walnuts.
Unfortunately on this occasion the service was not as good as it could have been. We had to wait so long for our main courses that we just wanted to give up and go grab a takeaway.
We were provided with a free drink but it did dampen what could have been a lovely visit.

Overall this restaurant offers 3 different dining experiences as well as a bar menu, a la carte and set menu. They offer seasonal local produce with classic and innovative combinations.
